Brown Sugar & Honey Amber Ale - Batch 4

Off to a late start, first batch with the shiny new kettle and frustrating counter-flow chiller.

 

Grains:

  • 1.5 lb. 2-Row American barley malt
  • .25 lb. Victory malt
  • .5 lb. Crystal malt
  • .5 lb. Brittish caramalt
  • .25 lb. Brittish Amber

 

Hops:

  • .5 oz. Centenial whole hops (bittering) + 1 oz. @ 10 mins (aroma)
  • .5 oz. Crystal whole hops (bittering) + 1 oz. @ 5 mins (aroma)

 

Other:

  • 3 lb. Briess Gold DME
  • 1.25 lb. brown sugar
  • 1.25 C. honey (bottling)
